in 3 months, I helped to find a treatment for a new gen product from egon zehnder - I built a scalable design system, refined brand expression, unified interactions, improved consistency, and streamlined developer handoff for a premium AI-driven recruitment platform.

ZEndai UI suffered from brand misalignment, inefficiencies, and a fragmented user experience due to inconsistent components and a lack of a centralized design system. Designers and developers were spending excessive time on repetitive tasks, leading to delays.

The client aimed to build an AI-powered platform to streamline the recruitment of top executives by analyzing vast candidate data and producing insights in real time. My role was to design a UI that would simplify complex data for users, providing a seamless experience that balanced professionalism with advanced functionality.

Interviews with target users revealed a need for easy data customization and faster access to critical metrics. Competitor analysis showed that most platforms had slow response times and poor data visualizations. From this, I identified three core focus areas for innovation: speed, personalization, and interactive data visualization.

I learned that users needed instant access to candidate insights & customizable filters for data exploration, without overwhelming them with complex AI data.

building the system

Build a comprehensive design system to ensure brand consistency across all products - Reduce design and development time by creating reusable components and standardized guidelines - Establish a framework that can scale with new features and products.

Using a deep understanding of anatomy of design systems, zendai interface and motion systems were build to define the new digital platform. I took part in shaping the brand and the system from the very beginning, focusing on the moving expression. I set the rules for how ui system interacts, including the data visualization style & matching the animation to the TOV.

after 3 months, the redesigned dashboard led to a 45% increase in user engagement & a 22% improvement in daily active users. users praised the customization features and interactive data displays, which helped the client position their product as a leading solution in the c-suite sourcing.
